On the 9th of October 2007 I was diagnosed with Folicular Non Hodgkins Lymphoma grade 3 B Cell after being on a diet and finding a large Hard lump in my left abdomin area ,after seeing GP and having scans and ultrasound ,the GP was concerned of the large Lymphnodes one was mesuring 23 centermeters by 19 Cm /9 inches by 7 inches.
Then seen a surgen and had a biopsy well two biopsys all up until they were able to conferm the Tumers were actualy Cancer.
So now have gone through 7 cycles of chemo but the body has a jeene that seems to be rejecting the treatment so far, so thats where I'm at now .

Hi People,
Now things have changed somewhat .
I have now had 9 cycles of Chemotherapy, the last 2 cycles were very high doses of Methotrexate MTX and Cytarabine ARA-C.
Yeah that stuff knocked me around a bit.
Any how I have had a Pet Scan to find the results .
But not good there are still 3 Hot Spots of cancer showing.
So now We try Radio therapy, and then a Stem Cell transplant. Using a Sibling ,seeing I have 7 to choose from, 6 of them have had there blood tested for tissue typing to find a match.
It will be an Allogeneic Transplant /Sibling transplant/Sibling allograft.
This wont happen for another 6 to 8 weeks yet .I will be having 3/4 weeks of radiotherapy first then a break then a scan then the transplant.
I had a CT scan to align up for the treatment with small dots tattooed around my abdomin area so they can line up for the treatment.
So my first Radiothrapy treatment starts on the 9th of July 2008 for 3/4 weeks.
Regards,Mark.....
